Comments on the 15 Articles of Faith
The 15 articles of faith provides a powerful viewpoint and perspective on the Essene gnostic faith.  This intrapersonal path to purification requires much effort of those who truly seek the benefits of living an enlightened life.  Here, we observe each of the 15 articles and provide a more common english translation in order to assist in both clarification and performance of the duties which the articles convey.
Naziruthian Gnosis
An Introduction to Nazorean Beliefs
With Commentary In Simpler English
There is a Perfect, Ever-existent and Primordial Oneness which we call Amin-, meaning Hidden God, and Hiya, meaning Living God.
  • Nazoreans have many different names for God that come from many different languages. Two of the most important are from the ancient Aramaic (Hebrew) language spoken at the time of Christ. These names are Aumen and Hiya. The meaning of the Aramaic word Aumen, or Amin, is "hidden". The meaning of Hiya is "life" or "Living Ones". These names describe two of the many different sides of God. God is also perfect, God has always been around, and God is the one who created everything good.
  • Amin-Hiya are both male and female, and give continual birth to male and female spirits in Their aspect of Heavenly Parents.
  • Nazoreans believe that it is wrong to see God as being an older white male sitting on a throne somewhere out in space. Nazoreans see God as both a God and Goddess, in fact, Nazoreans see God as a pair of Loving Heavenly Parents. They are our Parents because they gave birth to our spirits a long time ago in their perfect heavenly world. They are still giving birth to heavenly children. These heavenly children will one day come down to an earth like ours so that they can experience what it is like to live in a world like this.
  • Amin--Hiya neither created, nor maintain, this fallen universe in which we live, but live in Their own perfect reality outside the bounds of our time and space and beyond the control of the lower gods and goddesses who reign here.
  • Jews, Christians and Muslims believe God created everything, both the good and the evil. They believe God made this earth and created the beings who rebelled and became evil (like Satan). Nazoreans have always taught that God did not create everything, only everything good. Everything evil was created by evil beings. These evil beings are not eternal, but they are made up of stuff  that is eternal and opposite to the pure light of the good God. This material universe belongs to the dark ones, not God. That is why there is so much suffering and evil in the world.
  • Amin--Hiya, also called the Great Life and the Living Ones, allow Their imperfect offspring to leave Their World and descend to other realities inferior to the primordial worlds of Light as a means of evolving them toward perfect godhood.
  • Nazoreans teach that we are the children of God and that we can grow up to be just like our Parents. Yes, Nazoreans teach that we can become gods because we are the children of God! The process of becoming a God is very complicated and takes a very long time. Before we can qualify to become a god we must prove ourselves here in this world. We must develop character, courage, virtue, love and wisdom. One of the reasons the good God allows this world to exist is because it is a good school for Their children. We learn things in this world which would be impossible to learn in a more perfect place. Through experience here we become more wise and patient.
  • We eventually forget our heavenly origins and  loose ourselves in the pollutions of these lower worlds of darkness, incarnating again and again until we hear the "Call of Life" which beckons us to remember and  return Homeward to our Heavenly Parents who await us there.
  • Nazoreans believe in reincarnation. We believe that we have been being reborn here in this universe for a long long time. So long in fact that we have forgotten where we originally came from. God is always trying to make us remember. God always whispers to our soul, not in words, but with a feeling that we don't belong here and are a long way from our true home. When a person feels this, then they have heard the "Call of Life". The call of life is simply a memory or a longing to go back to where we came from and escape from this dark world and universe.
  • We are assisted in our return Heavenward by the Naziruthian Gnosis, a system of enlightenment and purification brought to our world by Yeshu and Miriam and Their fellow workers.
  • Nazoreans believe that once we feel that we belong to another universe, we must start living a kind of life that will help us be able to return there. Nazoreans have a special name for this lifestyle and program - they call it Nazirutha. This is an old Aramaic word which means a program created by Yeshua and Miriam which has all the teachings and practices that we need in order to make us better people.
  • The saving system of Nazirutha includes purifying rituals, sacred scrolls, special diets, service to others, and an inward journey of self discovery, renewal and reconnectedness with the Great Life.
  • Nazoreans believe that their religion was given them by Yeshu and Miryai. It keeps getting messed up so they keep sending more prophets and teachers to get it going again. This religious program has certain ceremonies which are very important, like baptism. It also has its own books and writings (called sacred Scrolls). This program says it is not okay to eat meat, fish, eggs or milk. It says a person has to be nice to others and help them. It also says that you become good by going deep down inside and finding that part of you that is most like your Heavenly Parents above. There is a deep spirit or soul way down inside of us that must be found and awakened. Finding this soul is the key to becoming perfect.
  • The mainstream view of Buddha, and the form of Buddhism based on Shakyamuni, are not in harmony with the true teachings, sutras, and practices of the original and more ancient Buddha Shenrab and the system of Dzogchen Enlightenment once taught by Him and His female counterparts on Mt. Kailash.
  • Nazoreans believe that the original source of  Buddhist teachings came from Shenrab Miwo who was born almost 1400 years before the more popular "buddha" of India (Shakyamuni or Sidhartha). Lots of Shenrab's true teachings are mistakenly attributed to this later figure, and  were mixed up with a lot of false teachings like there is no soul or God, it is okay to eat meat, celibacy is good, and woman are not as good as men. True Buddhism worships Goddesses and Gods and uses the union of vegetarian males and females to help achieve enlightenment.
  • The modern view of Jesus, and the form of Judeo-Christianity based on the Bible, are not in harmony with the true teachings, scriptures, and practices of the historical Yeshu (Jesus) the Nazorean and the system of  Naziruthian Enlightenment once taught by Him and His bride Miryai from Their Temple on  Mt Carmel.
  • Nazoreans say that the Bible was not written by Jesus or his disciples, but later. Because it was written down later by people who did not know Jesus, many of its teachings are not true. Most of the Bible teachings are true and good, but there are enough untrue things in the Bible to give a person the wrong idea about who Jesus was and what he taught. Many of the most important teachings of Jesus were lost and many modern ideas about him are wrong. Nazoreans hope to help make the original teachings of Jesus available once again.
  • Nazirutha, as taught by Yeshu and Miryai, insists that one renounce the world and its ways, and eventually embark on a natural and spiritual lifestyle that includes a vegan diet, a simple non materialistic lifestyle, and ever increasing understanding and practice of spiritual truths.
  • The true and original teachings of Christ were a bit different than what modern Christians think they were. Some of the more original teachings of Christ that have almost been forgotten. One of these is that we must not kill animals to eat. Another teaching was that a good person doesn't need a lot of money but does need to spend a lot of time studying spiritual things. Jews, Christians and Muslims think it is okay to live a normal life as long as a person is good and does some religious practices. Nazoreans do not believe this. They do not think it is okay to spend most of your time making money or having a good time. A little time is okay, but most of a person's time should be spent doing spiritual things. If a person is not going to spend most of their time making money, then they need to live a simple life that can be supported by part time work.
  • Nazirutha teaches that the outer body, and its world, come from inferior creators, but the slumbering inner spirit, and its world, come from the Hidden Living Ones who strive to awaken it, purify it, and return it to its Source.
  • Nazoreans do not think that their Good God made the world, or Adam and Eve's body in a Garden of Eden. In fact, Nazoreans believe almost the total opposite of this. They anciently taught that the first humans had their physical bodies created by evil gods, not good ones. Because of this Nazoreans think their soul comes from heaven, but their bodies come from the earth. Bad thoughts and feelings have their origin in the body, but everything good and loving comes from the deeper soul inside of us. In this world the power of the body is very strong, that is why there is so much evil and pain in this world. Nazoreans try to be good by ignoring things that make the body happy and by thinking a lot about what makes the soul happy. Nazoreans believe in taking care of the body, but they do not believe in giving it everything it wants. They think this makes a person weak and selfish.
  • The Hidden Living Ones continue to send enlightened male and female spirits to the earth to restore or perpetuate Their saving system of Nazirutha, the greatest of which are Yeshu (Essene Jesus) and Miriam (Mary).
  • Yeshua and Miriam are the two main representatives of Heavenly Mother and Father in this world. Most of Their work here is done without the need for them to be born into bodies on our earth. Sometimes, however, they do come down and get reborn as little babies and grow up to be great teachers and prophets on the earth. Once Yeshu was born into the world as Yeshu (Jesus) and Miriam (Mary). Nazoreans believe they have been born at other times too. Yeshu and Miriam have others that help teach their program. These others are the prophets recognized by Nazoreans. They too are born into bodies on earth from time to time.
  • We purely serve Yeshua and Miriam when we actively participate in Their Church and Rituals, keep Their commandments, and strive continually toward ever greater wisdom and compassion.
  • Nazoreans worship a Heavenly Father and Mother, but they think it is okay to also pray to Yeshua and Miryai since these two represent our Heavenly Parents in this world. By belonging to the Nazorean Church of Yeshu and Miriam all Nazoreans believe that they can become much better people, but to do this we must keep all the rules of this religion and try really hard to become perfect. Just belonging to the right church doesn't help very much. A person has to become good inside by trying really hard to think, feel and do good things all of the time.
  • We will become perfect and ascend on high when we loose all interest in earthly affairs and fully purify ourselves in Their saving Gnosis through application of Their saving principles.
  • Nazoreans believe that a person can become perfect if they quit trying to get ahead in the world and if they keep all the rules of the Nazorean religion. If they keep them completely, then they can go back to heaven after they die.
  • We purify ourselves by fully walking the thirty-two fold Nazorean Way that is offered to us by Them in Their restored Order of Nazorean Essenes.
  • Nazoreans have a lot of different rules to keep, so they divide them up into 32 different levels. This helps a person to learn to be perfect one step at a time. These 32 levels make up the Nazorean religion which is called the "Order of Nazorean Essenes".

If you have further questions regarding these ideals, or simply wish to learn more about our order, please interact with us in our community forums.  We serve all that may seek the truths and gnosis in which we offer with tolerance, balance, and understanding.
